Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered the bullet-hit body of Bangladeshi national from Ratnai border point in Baliadangi upazila on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Saidul Haque, 28, son of Khatib Uddin of Baganbari Harinmari village.
Major Mohammad Jahangir Alam, acting commanding officer of BGB-50 battalion, said BGB members recovered the body from no-man's land near border pillar No 382 at around 9:45pm.
They also rescued an injured man, Manarul Haque, 25, son of Abdul Hakim of Jugihar village from the border point, according to a UNB report.
It is still not clear how Saidul died, said the BGB official adding that they have sent a letter to Border Security Force (BSF) of India demanding a flag meeting in this regard.
