152 projects worth Tk 66.8m implemented in Mymensingh

The government under the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has implemented 152 projects at a cost of Tk 66.80 million under its rural infrastructural repairing programme (TR-Kabita) during the 2021-2022 financial year in Mymensingh district.

District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer (DRRO) Sanuar Hossen said that the project included earth fillings and field development of educational and religious institutions, repairing and maintenance of rural roads, re-excavation khals and canals in all 13 upazilas of the district, reports BSS.

Among the total projects, 17 were implemented involving over Tk 4.80 million in Haluaghat upazila, eight were implemented involving over Tk 4.10 million in Dobaura, 12 were implemented involving over Tk 4.90 million in Phulpur, 12 were implemented involving over Tk 4.90 million in Tarakanda, 12 were implemented involving Tk over 4.50 million in Gouripur, one project was implemented involving over Tk 0.30 million in Mymensingh Sadar, 15 projects were implemented involving over Tk 4.90 million in Muktagacha, 17 were implemented involving over Tk 5.80 million in Phulbaria, 12 were implemented involving over Tk 5.20 million in Trishal, 16 were implemented involving over Tk 5.10 million in Ishwarganj, 15 were implemented involving over Tk 5.50 million in Nandail, 25 were implemented involving over Tk 5.70 million in Gafargeon and 12 projects were implemented involving over Tk 4.70 million in Bhaluka upazila of the district, he added.
