Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard in a drive recovered 1.20 lakh pieces of Yaba tablets from Noyapara area in Shah Porir Dwip of Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of coast guard (east zone) conducted a drive in the area and chased two suspected drug peddlers. At one stage, the two men fled the scene leaving behind two polythene bags.
Later, the team members recovered the Yaba pills worth Tk 60 million (Tk 6 crore) from the bags, said a press release, reports UNB.
