A man and his wife died in a road accident at Ranihati on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway in Shibganj upazila on Saturday noon.
The deceased were Aslam Uddin alias Enamul, 65, and his wife Miniara Begum, 55-residents of Islampur area of the district town.
when the couple was going to Rashiknagr village of the upazila in a motorbike , a truck hit their motorbike around 12:15, leaving the duo dead on the spot, Officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station Habibul Islam Habib said.
UNB said police recovered the bodies and seized the truck.
