The budget session of the Jatiya Sangsad will continue until July 4.
The decision was taken at the eighth meeting of the advisory committee of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also a committee member and Parliament leader, participated in the meeting.
The session will begin every day after the Asar prayer except for the two weekly holidays. A general discussion on the multipurpose Padma Bridge will be held on June 8, reports BSS.
On June 9, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will deliver the proposed national budget for 2022-23 fiscals at 3:00 pm at the Jatiya Sangsad. A general discussion on the supplementary budget will be held on June 12.
A total of 1,621 questions, 71 questions exclusively for the prime minister and other 1550 questions, have been kept for the question-answer session during the current session. Senior parliament secretariat officials attended the meeting while Parliament Secretary KM Abdus Salam moderated it.
