BSB-Cambrian group, in association with Dr Karunamaya Goswami Research Academy, will organise a discussion to commemorate Dr Karunamaya Goswami on his second death anniversary on Sunday.
The eminent musicologist, litterateur, researcher, educationist, translator, editor and columnist professor died on June 30, 2017.
He was involved with the research academy for twelve years, says a press release.
The BSB-Cambrian group and Dr Karunamaya Goswami Research Academy will jointly arrange a memorial discussion at the Cambrian College Auditorium in city’s Gulshan area around 4:00 pm.
Shamsuzzaman Khan, a folklorist, writer and a former director general of Bangla Academy, will attend the function as the Chief Guest.
Nazrul Institute's Executive Director Abdur Razzak Bhuiyan, Mofidul Hoque, cultural activist, essayist, and a trustee of the Liberation War Museum, will also join the discussion as special guests.
Lion M. K. Bashar (PMJF), the president of Dr Karunamaya Goswami Research Academy and the Chairman of BSB- Cambrian Group will preside over the meeting.
