A motorbike rider was killed as a bus hit his bike in Phultala area under Shajahanpur upazila of Bogra on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Yasir Arafat Mukul (33), son of Yasin Ali, hailing from Khalisakandi village of the upazila, a news agency reported.
Police said the accident took place on the Dhaka-Bogra highway when a bus hit the motorbike in the area at about 7.30 am, leaving the bike rider Mukul injured.
Mukul was sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
