A Dhaka court has jailed BNP leader Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia for three years on charges of hiding wealth information in a case filed 14 years ago.
Judge Sheikh Golam Mahbub announced the verdict on Tuesday, reports bdnews24.
The court has also fined the former minister Tk 50,000, said Masud Ahmed Talukder, one of his lawyers.
