Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar on Saturday said Bangladesh has now reached a position, from where it can play the role of global leader in digital industrial revolution.
“Bangladesh is now exporting software to eighty countries in the world and also exporting computer and laptop to Nepal and Nigeria. Our new generation is meritorious and we have to enrich them in futuristic education,” he said.
The minister came up with the observations while addressing a seminar organized by Dhaka district administration marking the 4th National Development Fair in the capital.
Presided over by Dhaka deputy commissioner Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan, the function was addressed by Prime Minister’s Office secretary Sajjadul Hassan and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University professor Dr Kamal Uddin Ahmed.
University Grants Commission chairman Prof Abdul Mannan presented the keynote paper at the seminar, reports BSS.
