The government has rescheduled banking hours as part of its series of steps to save energy amid a global crisis.
As per a decision taken at a weekly cabinet meeting on Monday, banks will stay open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, instead of the regular 10 am to 6 pm working hours, reports bdnews24.com.
The decision will come into effect from Wednesday, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said after the cabinet meeting.
