The Supreme Court has asked its all subordinate courts and tribunals to operate with 50 per cent officers and employees in person amid a surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.
The order will come into effect from January 24 to February 6, the top court’s Registrar General Md Ali Akbar in a notification on Monday that falls on January 24.
Earlier on January 22, in another notification, the Supreme Court asked its all subordinate civil and criminal courts to conduct trials virtually as well amid the rising Covid infections.
