All measures taken to prevent question paper leaks: Nahid

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said all measures have been taken to prevent question paper leak in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of Bangladesh.

He said, “We all must remain very alert to those people who want to harm our future generations by leaking true or false and confusing questions.”

Nahid came up with the remarks on Monday while talking to journalists after visiting the exam activities at Siddheswari Girls College in Dhaka on the occasion of HSC and equivalent examinations.

“We have taken all the steps to stop question papers leaks that can be possible only for human beings,” he added.

A total of 1,311,457 students took part in their HSC and equivalent examinations at 2,541 centres in home and abroad, said a press release.

Of the total candidates, 6, 92,730 are male and 6, 18,727 female.

Besides, a total 299 students were expected to appear in the examinations from seven overseas centres.
