Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud on Thursday warned of departmental actions against the newly-appointed employees of the commission if they are involved in any immoral activities and harass anyone through irregularities.
The ACC Chairman also urged the employees to do their duties properly and duteously to protect the image of the commission.
Mahmud’s warning and views came at an orientation programme of the newly-appointed employees of the ACC at its headquarters in the capital.
“Every employee of the ACC is important and so the duty of negligence of any employee undermines the image of the anti-graft watchdog agency”, he added.
The ACC commissioner Dr Md Mozammel Haque Khan, among others, was present at the function.
