At least 69 children were killed in the first two months of this year alone across the country, according to a local independent rights body.
The Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report noted that out of the total, 18 children were below the age of 6 years while 15 were between 7 to 12 years.
32 cases were lodged in connection with the incidents, the report revealed.
Of them, 19 children were murdered by torture and 11 committed suicide, the ASK report found.
Apart from this, 5 were killed after abduction and 5 were killed by torture in domestic sphere of the victims, it said.
Two committed suicide after being raped.
Some 521 children were killed in 2018 and 229 cases were filed regarding the incidents, it added.
