Police in overnight drives arrested some 62 people from different areas under 17 police stations early Sunday, a news agency reported.
Police conducted drives from Saturday night to Sunday morning and arrested 62 people accused in murder, women repression, robbery, drug, and other crimes, said additional superintendent of police Abdullah-al Mamun.
The arrestees were on run to avoid arrest, the police official said, adding that they were produced before a Comilla court this morning.
