The Bangladesh Public Service Commission has published the results of 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examinations.
BPSC Chairman Mohammad Sadiq told a local media on Wednesday that a total of 5,379 candidates have qualified for the viva tests.
"The schedule for the oral test will be announced later," he said.
As many as 243,476 job-seekers took the preliminary tests on September 30 last year, of which 8,523 qualified for the written tests.
In February 2016, the PSC published the circular for the 37th BCS exams to appoint 1,226 first-class gazette officers.
