Passengers were suffering immensely on Dhaka-Tangail highway as vehicles are moving slowly due to 20-km tailback stretching from Mirzapur of Tangail to Chandra of Gazipur.
The tailback was created due to huge pressure of vehicles as holidaymakers are making return journey after Eid, said Khalilur Rahman Patwary, officer-in-charge of Tangail highway police, reports UNB.
Besides, vehicular movement is very slow from Mizrapur to Elenga intersection due to the on rush of the vehicles, added the OC.
