A total of 11 Bangladeshis were killed and one tortured to death in incidents of violence along Bangladesh border in January-April 2019, according to a local independent rights body.
Apart from this, two others were sustained injuries and nine were abducted during the period, according to a report of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK).
Eight Bangladeshi were shot to death and six other tortured to death in border violence in 2018, it showed.
