Vacancy Type: Communications and Outreach Officer
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinating various media and advocacy initiatives to assure understanding and visibility of the project.

Responding to requests for information from components regarding the development activity of the project by providing them with the document and/or facilitating their access to relevant information sources.

Conceptualize and assist in the production of visibility materials for the program.

Assist in maintaining and updating the project website.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with a higher degree, desired, in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English Composition, or advertising from a recognized institution.

At least 3 years of work experience in communication, media and/or publication relations, preferably with NGOs.

Demonstrable understanding of NGO supporter development with at least one year of experience in a comparable role.

Prior experience of working with USAID or USG programs/projects is highly preferred.
