Urmi Group is introducing a three-layer antiviral and anti-microbial face mask – “Turag Protex”.
HeiQ Viroblock, a Swiss product was applied to manufacture this mask which is capable of killing 99% viruses.
Director-General of Drug Administration (DGDA) has approved this product as the first-ever high-performance mask in Bangladesh.
From the mid-August, the antiviral and antimicrobial face masks will be available for men, women, and children in three colors and various sizes.
“Turag Protex” is a product of Urmi Group that manufactures and exports products for Puma, Marks & Spencer, Uniqlo, Decathlon, and 26 other major brands.
Even in this difficult time of COVID-19, they are exporting protective equipment and masks.
“At a tough time, such as this, in addition to exporting protective equipment to foreign countries, we are producing Antiviral Face Masks at an affordable price for our general people,” said Asif Ashraf - the Managing Director of Urmi Group. The entrepreneur thanked the government's timely decision for allowing export-oriented organizations to market protective equipment and masks. He believes that this decision will enable Bangladeshi people to have easy access to protective equipment.
The item is more affordable than the other one-time disposable masks in the market.
Made with re-washable fabrics, this mask is washable up to 25 times. The mask is very soft and comfortable.
