The government has provided 37,000 computers, tabs to clinics, workers with internet facilities aiming to give healthcare service to the patients with preparing database.
Mohammad Nasim, health and family welfare minister, on Monday said the present government has given 13,000 computers and 24,000 tabs to community clinics and health workers.
Nasim said the government established local area network between all upazila hospitals and district hospitals aimed at updating information through the database system, reports BSS.
The minister came up with the remarks on Monday while replying to a starred question from treasury bench member Begum Mahzabeen Khaled at the Jatiya Sangsad in the capital city.
He said the government provided computers, laptops and tablet computers with internet facilities from healthcare organisations and hospitals in national level to community clinics and rural health workers.
