Evercare Hospital Chattogram is proud to announce the successful completion of the first autologous bone marrow transplant (BMT) in Chattogram. The procedure was performed on a multiple myeloma patient on January 19 this year by Dr Abu Jafar Mohammed Saleh and his team.
Dr Saleh and his team are pioneers in the field of BMT in the private sector of Bangladesh. They have been providing full-time outpatient and inpatient services along with daycare facilities since January 1, 2023.

BMT is a complex and delicate procedure that involves replacing damaged or destroyed bone marrow with healthy cells. It is a life-saving treatment for patients suffering from blood disorders such as leukemia and lymphoma.
