A study report on “Measuring the effectiveness of a pilot intervention on delaying early pregnancy among newlywed couples in B’Baria District” was unveiled on Wednesday in Dhaka.
Family planning-field services delivery (FP-FSD) unit of Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) formally unveiled the study findings at an event.
Sheikh Yosuf Harun (second from right), secretary of health education and family welfare division of health ministry, was present as the chief guest.
Quazi AKM Mohiul Islam, director general of DGFP, presided over the event. Md Sarwar Bari, Line Director of FP-FSD delivered the welcome speech.
The study was supported by UNFPA Bangladesh, according to a press statement of DGFP.
