Netflix competitor 'Iflix' lands in Bangladesh

Entertainment service 'Iflix' launched its operations in Bangladesh on Sunday, announcing an exclusive partnership with Robi Axiata Limited.

Iflix is an Asia-based startup which is similar to the Netflix providing live streaming services. Its journey started in May 2015, initially in selected Asian markets.

The company is giving Robi and Airtel subscribers a three-month unlimited access to Iflix.

Even local consumers can enjoy unlimited access to Iflix's vast library of various shows and programmes by signing up for a one-month free trial via Iflix's website, www.iflix.com, or downloading the app from Google Play or the App Store.

The yearly subscription fee to access Iflix in Bangladesh is priced at BDT 3,000, while the monthly subscription fee set at BDT 300.
