The critically acclaimed Television series Game Of Thornes's much-awaited prequel 'House of the Dragon' premiered on HBO on 21st August. On the first day of its premiere, it broke all the records of viewership in the USA.
HBO Max's official viewership and streaming platform HBO Max was 9.986 million, making it the biggest series premiere in HBO history, according to Warner Bros.
This fantasy television series scored 9.1 in IMBD and 88 per cent average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. During the 8th and final season of the Game of Thrones, HBO announced that they would make a series prequel based on the novel 'Fire & Blood' by George R.R. Martin. Fans were eagerly waiting to know about the ancestors of their favourite queen Daenerys Targaryen and her father, 'The Mad King.'
The story is set 172 years before the death of 'Mad King' and the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. The story in the first episode circles around the announcements of the heir of the Iron Throne and the seven kingdoms.
The first episode's director is Miguel Sapochnik, and the show is created by himself and George R.R Martin. The outstanding background score is done by Ramin Djawadi, who is well accepted by the audience for his lovely theme song of Game of Thrones.
The show's next episode will be aired on 28th august, exclusively on HBO Max.
