Nobel Peace Laureate Malala Yousafzai met actress and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra in New York and tweeted a photo of the two together, along with a sweet caption.
Malala Yousafzai tweeted the photo writing, "Can't believe I met Priyanka Chopra!"
Malala only joined Twitter two months ago and uses the micro-blogging site to share exciting life updates, like getting into Oxford, reports ndtv.com.
On Wednesday, the 20-year-old tweeted a sweet "fan girl" moment with actor and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra.
Their Twitter exchange was just the dose of positivity the Internet needed and a photo of the two together went viral overnight.
The 35-year-old actor was quick to reply, tweeting, "Oh Malala no words will be enough...I can't believe I..met..U!! (sic) You're just a young girl with so much heart..and such achievements. so proud."
Yousafzai is in New York with her charity, the Malala Fund, as the United Nations General Assembly is in session. The young activist has been fighting for recognition of educational rights for children, and, in 2012, was nearly killed by the Taliban in Pakistan for it.
"Spending a few hours with you and your incredible father Mr Yousafzai (who reminds me so much of my father), I realized you're also just a young girl with young dreams. Your jokes, Your love for Hindi Films, your infectious laughter will always remind me of what a huge responsibility you have taken on at such a tender age... You inspire women like me all over the world," Chopra wrote.
