From rising stars in the film industry to breakout musicians making waves in the country's vibrant music scene, many emerging talents entered the Bangladeshi showbiz world in 2022 and are worth looking out for this year.
Animes Roy
Animes, discovered by none other than Shayan Chowdhury Arnob, truly embodies the essence of music with his energetic and signature tone as soon as he began performing the Hajong original 'Nasek Nasek' in the inaugural season of Coke Studio Bangla this year.
His natural flair and growing hunger for creating compositions are unmatched. Although Animes can adapt to any stage, his videos showcasing his uke playing in picturesque locations truly showcase his talent at its best.
Masha Islam
Masha started showing her musical abilities on YouTube during her teenage years back in 2016. It didn't take long for the prodigy to receive recognition for her incredible voice, and she went on to perform alongside Shafquat Amanat Ali.
