A high-ranking delegation team of the Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE), China has visited its partner university in Dhaka- Eastern University (EU).
Prof Dr Engr Aminul Hoque, vice chancellor of the EU, Muhammed Siddique Hossain, treasurer of the Eastern University, and Abul Basher Khan, registrar of the EU, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The Career Service and International Office (CSIO) of the Eastern University organised the programme on Monday.
Dr Md Aftab Anwar, assistant professor and in-charge of the CSIO, conducted the programme.
The delegation team including Jin Guoxing, director of International Student Education (ISEAO) and administration office, Li Ting, an English teacher of the YUFE, Wang Rongdang, director of international cooperation and exchange office, Ge Mao Guang, director of finance office, and Wang Qiu, assistant director of the ISEAO, had a significant meeting with the EU VC, Treasurer, Registrar, Dean, and Chairman of Faculty of Business Administration, respected faculty members, and its high officials.
The Eastern University proposed to the delegations to send EU students and faculty members for higher study and exchange programme, said a media release.
They discussions on students exchange programme, study tours, teacher training programme, sports competition and so forth in the meeting.
Both of the parties have agreed to extend cooperation and collaboration between Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE), China and Eastern University.
