The University of Development Alternative (UODA) has arranged a daylong case study programme for its students recently.
The programme, titled "Ineffectiveness Knows No Limits", was arranged at its auditorium in Dhanmondi area of Dhaka.
A press release said, students got an opportunity to discuss and debate on the case study about the best way to protect business interest in a given scenario.
Three groups, having 10 students each, took part in each segment from every batches of ongoing Masters of Business Administration programme.
After the briefing session, the students were given a certain time to solve the case. The session was followed by a question answer segment and a counter presentation sitting.
Associate Professor, Proctor & Deputy Registrar Tapon Kumar Biswas and MBA Coordinator Mahmudul Kabir Shandhi were present as special guest.
Abdullah Hil Muntakim (Faculty-HRM, School of Business) attended as resource person in technical session, said the press release.
Mr. Muntakim said, “It (the case study) refers to the use of a descriptive research approach to obtain an in-depth analysis of a certain situation to evaluate the course of action.”
Fatima Islam Priyanka (Project Manager, Eptisa Servicious de Engeneria S.L),Mohammad Zahirul Islam (Territory Sales Manager, Rangs Group), Abid Rahman Ankit (Admin Manager, TC), Mahbub Alam Khan(Credit Officer, City Bank), Tayeeb Ahmed Khan(Cash Incharge,SBAC Bank Ltd) were present in this programme.
Students and teachers of the university as well as corporate professionals were also present in the programme.
