The third event of Bangladesh Youth Symposium will be held at BUET on November 09 (Friday). Bangladesh Youth Symposium, an initiative of Youth School of Social Entrepreneurs (YSSE), intends to create a remarkable impact on the mindset of students about self-employment and social entrepreneurship which will introduce them with a new era of business. Also, the top minds of respective institutes who are already engaged with self-employing business activities will be exposed through these events into different institutes all around the country.

Earlier, YSSE conducted similar programmes at Primeasia University and Daffodil University successfully. The BUET event will be organised in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC) of BUET. EDC is working to enlighten the youths of the country by engaging them into entrepreneurial activities.

The sessions have been arranged particularly for the youth society to have a clear understanding of the basic requirements of entrepreneurship, the strategies to follow while starting own venture, the tactics to market a new product or service in the market, and the hurdles an entrepreneur faces in his/her path of success.

Masud Khan, chief executive officer of Crown Cement Group, will be the special guest at the event. The other speakers will include Waliullah Bhuiyan, CEO of Light of Hope, Tania Wahab, proprietor of Tan and Hussain M Elius, CEO of Pathao.
