The Hult Prize is an international contest that promotes the youth of the country to enhance their leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities by creating firms to address certain problems. The Hult Prize is a competition for aspiring innovators that aims to inspire the youth to see themselves as potential leaders with the power to fundamentally alter their surroundings. The on-campus programme was a component of the preliminary round, and the NSU Young Economists' Forum (YEF) has served as the official club partner for the Hult Prize at NSU for three years running.
Youths who participate in this competition are offered programmes, activities, seminars, and the prestigious USD $1.0 million global startup award at UN Headquarters to assist the winning teams in starting a social venture. For the top three groups in the Hult Prize 2022 NSU on-campus Competition, the announced prize money is as follows: Tk 30,000 for the winner, Tk 20,000 for the first runners-up, and Tk 10,000 for the second runners-up.
The finalists will receive a commendable certificate for their outstanding competition and skill. Additionally, the Hult Prize 2022 NSU on Campus Program victor will advance to the national competition. The competitors gain from not only having the excellent opportunity to win this big cash prize but also from having the ability to promote our nation and university internationally.
About 65 teams are taking part in this intra-university global competition to address this year's "Redesigning Fashion to be Sustainable" topic. Enrolment for the challenge commenced at the end of November. The initial round started in this session, and teams were instructed to submit their concepts in 200 words. The open enrollment period began on November 24 and ended on November 28 for this round of submissions.
The Hult Prize held a workshop that includes seminars for presentation, instruction, and grooming sessions for the participants. All the inquiries and worries regarding the contest and the HULT Prize objective will be resolved during the HULT Prize '23 workshop. The issue this time was "Redesigning Fashion to be more Sustainable," and it took place virtually on November 26, 2022.
Md. Shihabuzzaman Mollick and Sakib Khondoker, the on-campus winners of the HULT Prize at North South University 2019, will be leading this star-studded conference, making it an exciting and enjoyable encounter for the participant.
On December 02, 19 groups were chosen to engage in the semi-final round, while four teams were chosen to fight in the final round. The grand finale of the on-campus programme will take place on December 20.
