NSU organises webinar on quality of teaching materials

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of North South University (NSU) organised a webinar titled “Instructional Planning: Quality of Teaching Materials and Strategies” on Saturday, says a press release.

A notable number of faculty members of NSU participated at this one and a half hour session.

The primary objective of the webinar was to find out the ways in which the quality of teaching materials can be improved and effective strategies can be developed.

The webinar began with a welcome address by Dr Nazmun Nahar, director, IQAC, NSU. 

Dr Nuraihan Mat Daud from International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) was present as facilitator at the webinar. In her speech, she highlighted the set of programme standards developed in IIUM, learning outcomes of each programme, curriculum structure, pedagogical approaches, suggested forms of assessment for a language programme and various types of teaching and learning platforms that is followed in IIUM.

There was an open discussion session at the end of the webinar.

IQAC plans to hold similar events in future.
