The Madrasah Education Board obtained 83.03 per cent pass rate in the SSC (Dakhil) examination this year while the pass rate was 70.89 per cent last year, according to the results published on Monday.
A total of 3,06,780 students appeared in the examinations from the Madrasah Education Board. Of them, 2,54,710 came out successful. A total of 6,287 students with 2.05 per cent average rate obtained the maximum grade point average (GPA)-5 under the Madrasah Education Board.
The pass rate of Dhaka Board is 79.62 per cent, while it is 91.64 per cent in Rajshahi Board, 87.16 per cent in Cumilla Board, 90.88 per cent in Jashore Board, 78.11 per cent in Chattogram Board, 77.41 per cent in Barishal, 70.83 per cent in Sylhet Board, 84.10 per cent in Dinajpur Board and 72.24 per cent in Technical Education Board, reports BSS.
