Islamic University (IU) authorities have taken decision to readmit its 100 students whose admission have been cancelled following its 'F' unit's question paper leakage.
On March 13, 2017, the High Court stayed the university's syndicate decision of cancellation of the admission of 88 students of statistics and mathematics departments.
IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif on Saturday said the students were asked to collect their admission forms from January 15 to 21 from the offices of the respective department, he added.
On March 6, 2017, the authorities cancelled the admission of 100 students over 'F' unit's question paper leakage and also suspended the unit coordinator M Nurul Islam and two of its officials, and expelled a master's student of mathematics department, Monojit Kumar Mandol, for their alleged involvement in the unfair means.
Later on November 22 last, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court asked the IU authorities to uphold the studentship of 88 deprived students who got enrolled under F unit admission test, says a UNB report.
