IU launches two new buses

The authorities of Islamic University (IU) have launched two new buses on the campus in Kushtia in an effort to mitigate the transport crisis of the university.

IU Vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the buses in front of the university’s administration building on Saturday, said sources at the IU Information Publication and Public Relations Office on Sunday, UNB reported.

IU Pro-VC Prof M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Prof M Selim Toha, acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif and IU Teachers’ Association (IUTA) President Prof Kamal Uddin were, among others, present on the occasion.
