The authorities of Islamic University (IU) launched two new AC buses, a micro-bus and an ambulance on the campus in Kushtia on Monday with a view to reducing transport problem of the university.
IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the vehicles in front of the university's administrative building around 11:30am, UNB reported.
IU Pro-VC Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M SelimToha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, among others, were present on the occasion.
