Indian High Commission in Dhaka in collaboration with Department of Fine Art, Jahangirnagar University (JU), will host an art camp titled ‘India@Bangladesh 2.0 Art Camp’ on February 17-19.
Fifty artists nominated by universities and specialised art institutions across Bangladesh would participate in the event to be held at the Department of Fine Art, JU.
The participants of the art camp will have four sub-topics to choose from: “India@70 - India’s Development in the last 70 years”, “Victory of Friendship in Liberation War”, “Dhormo Jaar Jaar, Utshob Shobar”, and “Maitree”.
A panel of eminent artists and connoisseurs of art will judge the paintings and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held at 5pm on February 19, reports UNB citing a press release.
Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla along with JU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam will distribute the prizes among the recipients.
