Chittagong University Human Resource Club, an organisation affiliated with the Department of Human Resource Management, Chittagong University, held its Annual General Meeting yesterday at the auditorium of the Faculty of Business Administration where the 3rd Executive Council was declared.
The annual general meeting was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr Shanewaz Mahmood Sohel, Chairman of the Department of Human Resource Management, Chittagong University. His valuable remarks and expectations made the meeting significant.
Assistant Professor and Co-moderator Mr Abdullah Al Mamun and Assistant Professor Mr Md Kafil Uddin enlightened the meeting with their constructive speeches.
The highlight of the first annual general meeting was the long-awaited reunion with the Founding Executive Council and the pursuit of CU HR Club's dream of inspiring its members through various activities. With the departure of the 2nd Executive Council, the organisation’s flag of leadership was handed over to the 3rd Executive Council for the tenure of 2021-22.
President Ms Barna Chowdhury, General Secretary Mr Ahnaf Newaz Ayon, and Joint Secretary Mr Md Anisuzzaman Shanto will lead the new committee.
“CU HR Club upholds the vision to build young leaders who will lead this dynamic era to spark with their outstanding pursuits. To materialise this, We the Executive Council members will follow the legacy and involve in multiple arenas to flourish our enthusiastic souls through supreme creativity, agility, and leadership,” said Barna Chowdhury.
With the motto ‘Bring Change, Lead Change,’ the new council of CU HR Club aims to develop students' skills in HR, management, leadership activities and unveil its progress in new dimensions.
