With the goal of crafting a platform to help fresh-graduates find exposure to lucrative internships and job placements, the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Career Club has organised a job fair.
The BUP on Tuesday started the three-day long job carnival titled ‘BUP Career & Education Fest’--presented by Robi, in association with Yellow, on its campus in the capital.

The career fest, with the aim to bridge the gap between the supply demand sides of skills, will bring potential employers and anxious job seekers under one roof.
Following the footsteps of previous editions, this year’s Fest will have 25 well reputed employing organisations on board to succour recruiters handpick fresh talents from diverse backgrounds.
Thus this platform will create pathways to build successful careers for not only business graduates but also for the 1000 students graduating from all 13 departments at the BUP.
Past recruiters have had great success in identifying high calibre students for their full-time positions and internships through meticulous engagements and CV collections at the fair.
Of the notable recruiters participating in this year’s event, many are from BUP alumni who are coming back to their beloved campus to acquire potential individuals for their core management teams.
Hence the zealousness of not final year students but also the batches that follow is expected to be higher than ever.
The aforementioned companies include ventures from BUP Graduates themselves and the rest participating companies include: Robi, Beximco, One Bank, HBD Services, BRAC, Grameenphone, Kazi IT Center, BRAC Bank, bKash, IPDC Finance Limited, Lankabangla Finance Limited, Banglalink, Teach for Bangladesh, Bikroy, Daraz Bangladesh, Renata Limited, Confidence group, Augmedix, Talent Centric, Shajgoj, Adex Group of Companies, MyJobs, IDP Education Limited, Mentors’ Education, PFEC Global.

However, other corporate leaders will also be present to empower BUP students through their well-structured enlightening sessions; as such speakers from One Bank highlighting scopes and issues on Fintech.
The BUP Career Carnival is open to its students, officials, company executives and even alumni.
Last year fest’s turnout was a clear reflection of the continued strong demand for the outstanding student talent BUP produces.
