Islamic University (IU) authorities have opened 'Bangabandhu Corner' on the campus in Kushtia on Saturday afternoon.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari inaugurated the corner as the chief guest at the university's central library.
Among others, IU Pro-VC Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha, Acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif and IU Proctor Professor M Mahbubar Rahman were present on the occasion as special guests, reports UNB.
The corner is designed highlighting spirit of Bangabandhu, it contains a good number of books, and opened there marking the celebration of 99th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
