Online-based organisation ‘SSC’99 Friends Club’, in association with the ‘SSC 99- Back to School’ and ‘Bandhon SSC 99’, has arranged an art competition for the children of those who attended the SSC examination in 1999.
The programme was aimed at bringing out the children's latent talents, says a media release.
Besides the children of the 99 batch students, their siblings' kids, nephews and nieces are allowed to participate in the event for free.
“Children are the future of our society and we have arranged the contest in order to discover their imagination as well as creativity,” said one of the organisers.
The competition consists of three different groups -- Ka, Kha, and Ga.
Children belonging to the 'Ka' group (age between four to seven) will have to make the portraits of flowers while the art subject for the Kha group (age between eight to eleven) is ‘my school’. For the Ga group, (age between twelve to fourteen), the subject matter of the art is ‘my dream school’.
The art paper size should be 11x14 inches.
The children can draw picture at in their homes and send those to the contest organisers by courier service by March 20.
