The government has proposed allocating Tk 10.99 billion for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the national budget for the financial year (FY) 2022-23 which was Tk 10.61 billion in the revised budget for FY 2021-22.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal proposed the allocation while placing the budget for fiscal 2022-23 in parliament in Dhaka on Thursday with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, reports BSS.
The government had allocated Tk 10.08 billion for this ministry in the proposed budget for FY 2021-22 while its revised budget in the current fiscal was Tk 10.61 billion.
