Seven Rings Cement honours 15 govt entities

Seven Rings Cement, a sister concern of Hong Kong-based Shun Shing Group International Ltd. (SSGIL) recently arranged a programme titled “Tribute to Nation Builders” at Radission Blue Dhaka  to honour 15 government entities and their officials for their relentless support to develop the infrastructure of Bangladesh.

 

Top officials of RAJUK (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha), Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Dhaka WASA, Education Engineering Department (EED), Bangladesh Bridge Authority, Roads and Highways Department, Bangladesh Railway, National Housing Authority, Public Works Department, Bangladesh Power Development Board, Bangladesh Water Development Board, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Health Engineering Department (HED), Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) & Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) received the awards from Seven Rings Cement.

Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific was the chief guest in the event.

Engineer Professor Dr.  Shamim Z. Bosunia, Ex. President, Institution of Engineers Bangladesh and Professor Dr. Munaz Ahmed   Noor, Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Technology also attended.

On behalf of Seven Rings Cement, Ikram Ahamed Khan, Managing Director, Shun Shing Group International Limited (SSGIL), S. Raihan Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, Seven Rings Cement and Asadul Haque Sufyani, Chief Marketing Officer, Seven Rings Cement spoke.

The programme began with a short documentary on all those fifteen organizations, said a statement.
