The net sale of state-run savings instruments increased by 2.0 per cent during the last 11 months of fiscal year (FY) 2017-18 compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, official figures showed.
The net sale of savings schemes was worth Tk 478.61 billion in the July-May period of FY 2017-18, according to the Department of National Savings (DNS).
In the 11 months of FY 2016-17, the net sale was worth Tk 469.69 billion, the DNS data suggested.
