Anwar-ul-Alam Chowdhury (Pervez), president at the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) said that there are many challenges looming in the industrial sector in 2022 as the cost of doing business is rising as a result of power and other utilities.
He, however, said there some banking supports are needed to offset the losses of the coronavirus pandemic.
"We're trying to rebound and for this, we seek supports from the banking sector".
He said the terms loans moratorium s should be much higher.
He said small land large factories that took loans under the stimulus package should be extended more as they are yet to pick up.
He said getting skilled labour forces for the recovery is very much important by adding: "Otherwise we will not able to compete with the other competing nations".
