The High Court on Monday granted anticipatory bail to seven BNP leaders and activists of Feni unit in a case filed for ‘attacking’ the motorcade of party Chairperson Khaleda Zia on October 28.

A bench of Justice Md Miftah Uddin and Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman granted the bail for eight weeks.

According to a UNB report, the bailed BNP men are MA Khalek, Joint Secretary of BNP Feni district unit, Jasim Uddin, Adviser of BNP Feni sadar upazila unit, and Dulal, Imon, Nadim and Ziku, all activists of local Chhatra Dal.
